Named after the Sultan of the state, Jalan Tengku Mizan is an important access road in the eastern state of Terengganu. This road starts from the roundabout intersection that connects with other main roads leading to neighbouring states and is used by commuters each day to travel to and from work and school.
Landmarks and Subroads
Coming from the Kampung Batu Enam roundabout that connects with Jalan Kota Bahru and Jalan Tengku Ampuan Intan Zahara, Jalan Tengku Mizan heads eastwards where it will pass by Kampung Banggul Bunut and the Jalan Pengkalan Arang interchange. After that, it will continue southeast until it reaches the Jalan Tengku Mohamad junction before Jalan Gong Kilang. From here, this road will lead you to Sekolah Kebangsaan Serdang before passing by the river and then across Pulau Besar. Pulau Duyong is located next to this island before reaching the mainland again to reach the T-junction connecting to Jalan Sultan Mohamad.
Jalan Tengku Mizan is the main road used by the people of the state to travel between major suburbs of the state. As such, working adults, those in public service are among the highest group of people who travel on this road daily.
Certain parts of Jalan Tengku Mizan experiences peak traffic flow and this usually happens around the junctions like that which goes to Jalan Tengku Mohamad. Besides that, most of Jalan Tengku Mizan has moderate to low traffic flow at most times of the day apart from the evening rush hours and particularly on Fridays.
