The Metramac Highway is a major road used by vehicles to travel from the southern part of the Klang Valley into the city center and back. It plays a crucial role as the connecting link for more than 3.6 million vehicles to travel between the suburbs in between.
The Metramac Highway is known as the Cheras Highway. It actually comes in from the city center at Jalan Loke Yew at the Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka junction and head southwards towards Cheras and then to Kajang. In between this route, it will pass by the likes of Cheras Perdana, Bandar Mahkota Cheras and Sungai Long.
Metramac Highway is one of the most congested highways in the Klang Valley. It is used by working adults and families who ferry their children to school on weekday mornings and back from their respective locations during the evenings while it is usually congested during the weekends.
